These terms and conditions apply to private consumers' purchases of goods on tica copenhagen's webshops.

Before purchasing from the tica | copenhagen webshop, you must approve our terms of trade and are encouraged to read them carefully. The trade agreement is entered into between tica copenhagen and the buyer when "purchase" is selected on the website.
PAYMENT
All prices on the website are in DKK and include Danish VAT.
We accept payment by: VISA, VISA ELECTRON, MOBILE PAY, MASTERCARD, PAYPAL and AMERICAN EXPRESS.
Payment is processed by Worldline with Bambora checkout. tica copenhagen charges a fee for debit/credit cards. The fee is what the acquirer requires and can be seen in the payment window at checkout. The amount will not be debited from your account until the item is shipped.
Once you have selected the items you want and proceed to payment, you will automatically be redirected to a secure server. From here, all communication between you and the server is encrypted with SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption. This encryption ensures that no one else on the internet can intercept or eavesdrop on the information you enter. SSL is the most widely used security solution. This means that tica copenhagen does not store your credit card details.
VAT, CUSTOMS AND IMPORT DUTIES
If the country to which you wish to have the goods delivered charges customs duties and import taxes, these charges will be levied when the package arrives in the destination country. You will be charged for these duties. This also applies to gifts and purchases made on behalf of another recipient.
Unfortunately, we have no control over customs and import duties and cannot inform you how much these duties will be before your order is delivered. Customs regulations vary from country to country. For further information, we recommend that you contact your local VAT and customs office.
For orders to be delivered outside the EU, Danish VAT will automatically be deducted from your order on the website before payment. Please note that local VAT and import duties will be added to your order upon delivery.
DELIVERY
tica copenhagen offers the following delivery options:
Orders over DKK 799 are shipped free of charge in Denmark to the nearest GLS parcel shop.
Orders under DKK 799 are sent with GLS to the nearest parcel shop and cost DKK 59.
We do not deliver to Greenland and the Faroe Islands.
Expected delivery time in Denmark is 1-3 working days; however, orders containing pre-order items will generally have a longer delivery time. Ordered products are generally shipped together.
Orders with a foreign delivery address:
UPS - price depends on the recipient country. The price is shown once you have selected the delivery country in the shop.
We do not deliver to all countries. The available countries can be seen when you select the delivery address.
tica copenhagen is responsible for the goods until you have received them.
Delivery time abroad depends on the recipient country but will be between 5-8 working days.
RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
You always have a 14-day right of withdrawal when you shop with us. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day you received your item. You must notify us within 14 days of receipt that you wish to cancel your purchase.
Notification must be given by writing to sales@tica-copenhagen.dk or calling +45 4059 4403, or by using the form below.
In your notification, you must clearly inform us that you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal. You can also choose to use our standard cancellation form and send it back with the return. You can find the cancellation form here.
You cannot cancel by simply refusing to receive the item without simultaneously giving us clear notification of this.

RETURNS
You must return your order to us without undue delay and no later than 14 days after you have notified us that you wish to cancel your purchase. You are responsible for the costs associated with returning the item. When returning, you are responsible for ensuring that the item is securely packaged. You bear the risk for the item from the time of delivery.
Condition of the item when you return it:
You are liable for any decrease in the item's value resulting from handling other than what is necessary to ascertain its nature, characteristics, and how it functions. In other words – you can try the item in the same way as if you tried it in a physical store.
If the item has been used beyond what is described above, we consider it used, which means that upon cancellation of the purchase, you will only receive a partial or no refund of the purchase amount, depending on the item's commercial value.
Therefore, you cannot wipe dirty boots on a mat and then cancel your purchase and return the mat :-)
REFUND OF THE PURCHASE AMOUNT
If you cancel your purchase, you will naturally receive a refund for the amount you have paid to us.
In case of a depreciation in value for which you are liable, this will be deducted from the purchase amount. In the event of return of the purchased item in case of cancellation, you must pay the shipping costs yourself.
We will refund your payment no later than 14 days from the date we receive notification of your decision to cancel this agreement.
We will refund the amount using the same payment method you used for the original transaction, unless you have expressly requested otherwise.
We may withhold the refund until we have received the item back, unless you have provided documentation that you have returned it.
You must include a copy of the order confirmation. Processing will be faster if you fill out our cancellation form and include it.

RIGHT TO COMPLAIN
The Danish Sale of Goods Act's rules on defects apply to goods purchased.
When you shop at tica | copenhagen, you have a 24-month right to complain. This means that, as a general rule, you can have the item repaired, exchanged, receive a refund, or a price reduction, depending on the specific situation. It is a requirement that the complaint is justified and that the defect has not arisen as a result of incorrect use of the product or other damaging behaviour.
How quickly should I complain?
You must complain within "reasonable time" after you have discovered the defect in the item. If you complain within two months of discovering the defect, your complaint is timely.
We will refund reasonable shipping costs. If the complaint is justified, we will refund your (reasonable) shipping costs. When you return the item, please state the problem as detailed as possible.
Note! We do not accept packages sent COD or similar.
Remember that the item must always be sent back in secure packaging, preferably the original. Remember to get a receipt for dispatch so that we can refund your shipping costs.

EXCHANGE SERVICE
When you buy gifts at tica | copenhagen, the recipient can, of course, always exchange the item for another item, unless otherwise stated in the product description.
When an item is to be exchanged, the sender must bear the cost of shipping to tica | copenhagen. Please note in the shipment which item you wish to exchange for, or contact our customer service.

PERSONAL DATA POLICY
In order for you to enter into an agreement with us, we need the following information:

We register your personal data for the purpose of being able to deliver the item to you.
Personal data is registered with tica | copenhagen and stored for five years, after which the information is deleted.
When personal data is collected via our website, we ensure that it always happens with your explicit consent, so you are informed exactly what information is collected and why.
The director and staff at tica | copenhagen have access to the information registered about you.
The data controller at tica | copenhagen is Tina Bremholm, tica | copenhagen, Højdevej 27, 2830 Virum.
Information is not disclosed or sold to third parties. However, information is disclosed to selected and trusted third parties who are entitled to use your personal information to deliver the goods you have ordered and to keep you informed about the status of your order.
As a registered user with tica | copenhagen, you always have the right to object to the registration. You also have the right to access what information is registered about you. You have these rights according to the Personal Data Act, and inquiries in this regard should be directed to tica | copenhagen via e-mail sales@tica-copenhagen.dk.

COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE
If you are not satisfied with your product, or if it was damaged in the mail, you can complain about your purchase. Please contact our customer service at:

tica | copenhagen reserves the right to make changes in taxes, price and proofreading errors, technical errors, sold-out items, and force majeure, including labor disputes and defects in or delays of deliveries from subcontractors. Please note that the color in pictures may differ from the actual color due to lighting conditions and screen settings.
