All Tica Copenhagen textile rugs, mats, and runners are produced by our manufacturer in Belgium.

Belgium has a long tradition of producing this type of textile, and we have collaborated with the same factory for a number of years.

The factory operates under ISO 9001, which is an international standard for quality management, and production complies with current EU requirements for chemicals and the environment, among other things.

Production follows the requirements of REACH, the EU's comprehensive chemicals legislation.

REACH stands for Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals and was developed to protect people and the environment from the risks that may be associated with chemical substances.

For you as a customer, this means that there are requirements for which chemical substances may be used in materials and production, and how they must be handled and documented.

This is particularly relevant for products such as carpets and mats, which are used close to us in the home every day.

Tica Copenhagen's rugs, mats, and runners are made from 100% polyamide.

Polyamide is a durable material with good resilience and high absorbency. At the same time, the surface feels soft and pleasant.

This means the rugs are suitable for areas with heavy daily traffic, such as entrances, hallways, kitchens, utility rooms, and offices.

They absorb moisture, dry quickly, and retain their colours well, even with daily use.

The backing is made of phthalate-free vinyl/PVC.

This ensures the rug lies stably on the floor and does not slide around. The material is also suitable for underfloor heating.

The rugs have a pile height of approx. 7 mm, giving them a soft rug look without making them unnecessarily high at doors and transitions.

Tica Copenhagen's shoe trays and rubber mats are manufactured in India and consist of approximately 60% recycled rubber.

The recycled rubber primarily comes from discarded tires and residual materials from other rubber production. The rest consists of natural rubber produced in India.

The products are cast in metal molds, which gives them their characteristic solid shape and high durability.

Rubber is a robust and flexible material that can withstand many years of daily use.

The weight of the material also ensures that mats and shoe trays lie stably on the floor without slipping around.

The soft edges mean that the material can flex rather than break, and the products can be used on floors with underfloor heating.

Tica Copenhagen's Racks are produced in Poland and designed as flexible storage solutions for the hallway and the rest of the home.

The series includes both floor-standing models and wall-mounted solutions, allowing you to choose the type that best suits the room's size and function.

This makes them particularly suitable for hallways, where space is often limited, but they can also be used in wardrobes, utility rooms, bedrooms, or other places where simple and flexible storage is needed.

Tica Racks are made from powder-coated steel combined with wooden details.

The powder coating provides a durable and uniform surface, while the simple design makes the shelves easy to combine with the rest of Tica Copenhagen's universe.

The result is a storage solution that is both robust, flexible, and easy to integrate into the home.
