Tica Copenhagen originally started with the entryway. It's the first room you encounter when you come home, and the first impression your guests get. Therefore, the entryway needs to be able to handle shoes, outerwear, water, and dirt, while also feeling inviting and personal.
Today, our products are used throughout the home. The rugs can create warmth and cohesion in the kitchen, living room, bedroom, bathroom, and home office. The shelving systems and shoe trays can be used for much more than just shoes, providing flexible storage and organisation in many different rooms.
Our slogan “making an entrance” is therefore about both creating a good first impression and the feeling of stepping into a home where function, design, and everyday life go hand in hand.

The Story of Tica Copenhagen
Tica Copenhagen was founded by Tina Bremholm.
Tina has a commercial background and many years of experience in design and home décor. She personally designs Tica Copenhagen's products, working on everything from function and materials to colors, patterns, and how the product is used in the home.
The idea behind Tica Copenhagen originated from a desire to create a counterbalance to a buy-and-throw-away culture.
The products needed to be of high quality, durable for many years, and flexible enough to fit into different homes and rooms.
Since its inception, the ambition has been to develop functional interior products that make a noticeable difference in everyday life.

Tina Bremholm is behind the design of Tica Copenhagen's collections.
She finds inspiration in architecture, fashion, interior design, colors, and the needs that arise in everyday life. Each product is developed with a focus on how it will be used, how it functions with the rest of the home, and how the design can remain relevant over time.
The Scandinavian expression is conveyed through simple forms, functional details, and carefully selected colors and patterns.
The result is products that can be both discreet and practical, or function as a distinct design element in the interior.
Tica Copenhagen's name and DNA
The name Tica is a combination of Tina and Care.
"Care for the home" is a central part of our DNA. It's about creating homes where people feel comfortable, and where beautiful surroundings and practical solutions support each other.
For us, caring for the home isn't about everything being perfect. It's about creating frameworks that work in everyday life and that feel pleasant to come home to.
